not to sure but i think if people have to many seeds or any thing garden related we decide a night for people to bring these along and swap with each other

Great idea, Siobhain.
The basic concept is that if anyone has a surplus of seeds, seedlings, plants, etc.. they can bring them along to the meeting and swap them for something else.
Sharon, wasn't it you who brought seed potatoes and onion sets to share at our last meeting?
I have some pots and plug trays to spare, so I'll bring them along on 1st April.
Will post details in the next event update and mail shot.

Hi all,

I run the seed swap for the Bray group. I keep a box with all of the donated seeds and at each meeting people can have a browse through and take what they want - and we also encourage people to give their extra seeds as well. Seems to be working well so far.

Siobhain, I think that is a great idea. Yes Denise, it was me that brought onion sets and seed potatoes to the last meeting. I think it is great to be able to share things, as most seed packets have far more than you need. I shared some with a work colleague last year. If you have access to a photocopier, you can quite easily copy the growing instructions and then fold into an envelope shape to put seeds into.
