| Description | This group is for anyone in Ballinasloe and its hinterland who is interested in meeting other home growers, sharing tips and ideas about growing vegetables in their garden or polytunnel. Our next meeting will be held in Gullane's Hotel, Ballinasloe on Wednesday 31st March 2010 at 8pm. Padraic Fahy from Beechlawn organic farm will give us some tips on soil preparation and starting off. We hope to have a seed swap on the night so please bring any seeds that are surplus to requirements with you, preferably organised into small envelopes with the name of the seed clearly written on the outside. This will be a great opportunity to mingle and share our experiences of growing the seeds we are swapping. We look forward to seeing you there. |
