The sun was out, so I decided a trip to the garden centre was in order. I bought all I felt I needed in my first week of vegetable growing. I planted some potatoes using a grow bag, and some garlic in an old bucket. I also planted some sunflowers for fun :) I have topsoil and compost,  a rake, shovel and fork! I've also started a compost bin, but I don't think I'm doing it right!!! I'm gonna get my partner to make me some raised beds over the next few weeks. I've a lot of learning to do- but hopefully it will be fun. I have no idea what I'm doing!!!
